Plains Trail Group Home

PTGH was created because someone very important to me was struggling with few to no options for long-term care for his adult son with IDDs. 

 

He is not alone.  Many families come to realize that there are not many options when looking for long-term care for their adult children with IDDs, particularly as parents begin to age.  Further, many services that do provide socializing opportunities for individuals with IDDs, are lost once they become adults and age out of the public school system's special needs programs.

The need exists and so PTGH is established to welcome my loved one's son and others that would benefit from the services provided at PTGH.  The goal is for residents to live and thrive in a facility that was founded on the love of a son.  

 

We look forward to witnessing our residents living a happy life focused on, not their disabilities, but on their uniqueness, providing support to them where they need it.  This is a long-term plan and we hope to build an environment of personal fulfillment, companionship, friendship and comfort.
